The bible contains the mind of God, state of man, way of salvation, doom of sinners and happiness of believers. It's doctrines are holy, precepts binding, histories true and decision immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, practise it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, confort to cheer you. It involves the highest responibitity, will reward the greatest labor and condemn all who trifle with it's sacred contents.

Do we believe that the bible is the Word of God?
Can we afford not to read and meditatein his power.
God, help us to majour on the majour, give us the hunger for your Word.
