Sometimes as you read Old Testaments, you wonder why it seems that God is not so loving after all especially when he brings judgement to Israel and Jerusalem.

However now you try to read from God's perspective.

You'll realize that the reason God needs to punish the Israelites because :
(a) in Deut 28, he ALREADY warn the consequences of sin/disobedience.
(b) he wants to stop the Israelites from continuing in their sin, to make them come back to sense, to repent, so that their eternity will not be in hell(a terrible place) but in heaven(a joyous place).

So even in old testament, you find and learn about GOD'S LOVE.

GOD BLESS :)

+ AMEN

HE SAW YOU

I cast all my cares on the Lord
For He careth for me
My poor wretched soul has
been bought
Through the nails He bore on
Calvary

The life I once led is now gone
Replaced is a new man of song
This debt that he paid
Led Him to the cross of
Calvary
Led him to the cross of
Calvary

Cos He saw you
while He was on the cross
He said "It's worth it. You
justify the cost."
So He stayed right there
and withstood the pain
To cover our sin and our
shame

Cos He saw you
while He was on the cross
He said "I love you;
I came to save the lost
Just believe my child,
and then you'll see
What you could be in me.
In me"

Two thousand years have
gone by
Soon we'll meet Him up high
It's funny but now I do see
Why He took the nails on
Calvary
Why He took the nails on
Calvary

He was bruised for our
transgressions
Mocked and whipped. He was
forsaken
Sent to die by His own creation
So how could we ask for
salvation?
